Bank Draft Payment Method

Post by Zee ali » Fri May 02, 2014 7:45 pm

Hi

I want some information about using bank draft as payment method.

I have some confusion what to write on bank draft about payee.

Is it payable to HOME OFFICE LEAVE TO REMAIN or HOME OFFICE only???

if u see on page 2 it says for bank draft (payable to home office).

but if u see Page 3 it says for postal ordar and cheque ( payable to home office leave to remain).

see the form

https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... _04-14.pdf

Kindly help me on this.

Specially people who used bank draft as payment method before

The application form is quite clear (not sure what application you are making).

A Bankers draft is linked directly to your bank account and once the draft is issued, the money is taken out of your account and held by the bank as a guaranteed payment.

I am using flr fp form. I know what u mentioned above but on bank draft we have details like cheque number , account and sort code.

I know these details r bank own account. so do i need to mention these details on paying by cheque coulmn.

What about name, DOB and nationality?? do i need to write it on the back of bank draft like cheque????
