Tier 2 - ICT(long term) to ILR dependent

Post by bond.boy203 » Mon Jun 02, 2014 7:40 pm

Hi,
I came to UK in 2010 under Tier 1(general) and due for ILR in July-2015.

My would be Wife came on her own in August 2011 on Tier 2 ICT ( long term) post rule change where ICT's couldn't apply for settlement post 5 years and have to leave the country for an year after 5 years/

We are getting married this November and she have a valid ICT until 2016 as of now. Once I get my ILR in 2015 will she be available to switch immediately as my dependent and apply for ILR. We have been living together as partners since 2011.

What type of Visa she should be applying once I get my ILR in 2015. kindly suggest what is the best option for her to switch.

Once she switches to spouse of person settled (ILR) on FLR(M), she will have to wait a further 5 years before she can apply for ILR.
