I have few questions on behalf of my friend:
1. Is the application fees is £80.
2. How can i send my passport and my mum passport to UK, as i came to know passport are not allowed to send to other country by post.

I am not sure if you can submit these applications through the British High Commission in your country as you don't state which country you are from. You can contact the BHC to find out, I am sure they will advise accordingly.

Double check with BHC in your country if you send the application through them.It depends which country you are sending it from,it is alright to send passport from USA to UK through UPS.But you need to let the UPS knows about it and put a note on the parcel.It will still be examined by HM Customs.
