Query on Travelling once you apply for naturalisation

Post by pkris.k » Wed Jun 18, 2014 2:31 pm

Hi ,

I am planning to apply for Naturalisation in July via the NCS. And i am planning to travel to India for 2 weeks after that. is that OK or will that affect my application ?

Also am planning to register my daughter (who is in ILR now, but born here in UK and we took ILR after she was born). The issue is she has been away for around 130 days visiting her grandparents in the past 12 months. This additional 10 days as well, will that be an issue in terms of registration ?

Your guidance is much appreciated.

No issue in travelling while application is in process.

There is no absence issue for your daughter applying on MN1 under section 1(3) which is an entitlement. She didn't even need to apply for ILR if she was born in the UK.
