Spouse visa of Self Employed Sponsor(in current financial yr

Post by NAnand » Tue Oct 21, 2014 11:35 am

Hello,

Can I request this great group to help me out in collecting document for my wife who is applying from Bangalore, India under the category VAF4A with Appendix 2. (i.e., spouse of a settled person in UK). I have ILR btw.

Question is on meeting Financial Requirement:

As you know I need to show that I've to show UKBA that I've earned 18,600.

I was in permanent employment till end of Feb 2014. From March 1 2014 to July 14 2014 I was on break from employment.
From July 14 2014 I started working as a contractor through my limited company. My wife is applying for visa in Dec 2014.

My collective (Salary + Dividend) income from July 2014 to November 2014 would satisfy 18,600 GBP.

But But But...

UKBA has specified in guidelines that, I need to show CT600, SA300, SA302, tax returns and self assement and many other froms for the last financial year. But my company has started in current financial year. I cannot have those documents as current financial years has not ended yet.

What documents that I need to show in this case?

Please help me out.

Cheers,
N

You will need to wait until the financial year ends, as your wife will not qualify now.

Unless of course you have a savings of £62,500

My company opened very recently. You mean I should wait for 1 year from now to to get all the documents and then apply for visa?

Hi,

My situation is also similar. I am on ILR and started contracting in Feb 2014, before that I was on permanent employment. I want to apply for my wife visa can any one suggest what is the best route? The route of saving £62,500 may not be possible as I recently purchased house.

Thanks
Dev

Best to wait until you have earned the right amount or can gather the appropriate documents

Currently me being Main applicant got ILR granted on 21st Feb 2015 worked as Contractor for 5 years with my own limited company showed around £38k as earning during ILR on 21st Feb 2015 UKBA were happy with that since I came to UK on 8th March 2010 within 5 days of my initial stamping qualifying period and stayed in total of 5 years just 151 days outside absence on personal visit.

Planning to get married in India during May 2015 last week. Which visa category and form to fill for my New wife staying in India. She has never been to UK earlier. What is eligibility for her to get ILR status should stay for 3 yrs or since ILR getting stopped in April 2018 will it be a problem for her in future please guide. What all documents I need to send from UK to her as supporting document. What all documents she has to keep ready to get a visa to travel to UK by 3rd week June 2015. Forecasting Marriage certificate will be given by 1st week June 2015 By which month applying Visa for her from India is better.

Legally I am divorced from my Ex wife during Dec 2014. Informed UKBA about this during my ILR application successful on 21st Feb 2015. Ex wife Tier1 Dependent visa staying in Bangalore will expire in March 2015.

Hi NAnand,

Mine is a similar case like yours. Can you please tell me what all you did to secure your wifes dependent visa?

Your help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks
