benefits

Post by jeoali » Sat Nov 15, 2014 3:41 am

Hi,
Me and my wife got ILR recently. My daughter was born in 2011 in UK, she is on dependent visa which (no resources to public funds)was we got for 3 years before getting ILR. My daughter current visa will expire in 2017. I am going to apply for register as citizenship next month as I have ILR.

Q, can I claim for benefits and it will not effect on my daughter citizenship application.
Thanks

You and your wife can claim what you are entitled to claim. It will not affect your childs registration as British Citizen.
