financial requirement with child

Hello

I am a uk citizen going to sponsor my partner. If I have a child who was born in the UK do u need to meet the bigger financial requirement. Or is that only applicable if the child isa non uUK citizen.

If the child is a British Citizen, then you only have to meet the single partner £18,600pa requirement.
