Hello mate, brunocavalcanti wrote:I've seen people here applying as spouse of irish citizen and it looks like it is taking forever, why's that? It shouldn't take so long! If I apply as spouse of EU (5 yrs) will it take so long as well? I ask that because my partner is naturalising as Irish, so I dunno what to do...

citizenship precessing time is something like BINGO, you could get it within few weeks and you could spend months and months waiting , no measures no nothing only apply and you will know- not before that-. Good Luck
Can some-one answer this question please, Is it good if some-one did not receive second stage letter?pyramid stone wrote:Any BINGO updates !!!

Cyanne - I'm so sorry that you got this answer!Cyanne2420 wrote:Well after a year of waiting I received a bad news today that my application have been deferred by the minister.
"The Minister has decided to defer any final decision on your application until August 2016 in order that she might be so satisfied.
This office will be in contact with you again at that time."
Guess that's means re-apply again by then so..lol a year waiting for that sucks alright.
Good luck ladies and gents n hope u get urs approved soon..
Hello there banana07! Hope you are doing wellbanana07 wrote:sorry to hear that Cayanne.. the good news is that you dont have to apply again in august 2016.. they will resume your application on august 2016 and send you a letter that they are processing it etc.. fingers crossed you would be still in ireland by then!
i also have a traffic conviction, i know for sure the outcome of my case after seeing.Cyanne2420 wrote:I applied as spouse of irish citizen on Feb 2014.. I had one traffic offences on 2008 (no insurance, insurance company make a fool of me on the little fine print due to the fact I'm a provisional driver.Judge originally convicted me to pay €400, endorsement on my licence, 5 penalty point and 2 years banned from driver but after hearing my plea, he change it to €100 and 5 points penalty)
I guess a conviction in a traffic offences regardless big or small is a big no no for the minister.
I do hope they are sendi
I hope I'll still be here in Ireland..lol I have only myself to blame cause I let it too long before I apply..should have applied when my rep sheet in Ireland in beautiful instead 10 yrs later after a big buzz up with my traffic conviction..lol my husband and I was made redundant the time I applied and he was on job seeker allowance n me claiming as his dependent.banana07 wrote:sorry to hear that Cayanne.. the good news is that you dont have to apply again in august 2016.. they will resume your application on august 2016 and send you a letter that they are processing it etc.. fingers crossed you would be still in ireland by then!
