Hello, I am from Oxfordshire and wanted to ask how do I find B1 test near me, do I need to strictly follow List of tests approved by UK Visas and Immigration on Home Office site? And is it safe to use Eurospeak or EglishtestUK? I am a bit lost in finding the right one. Please help

You need to strictly follow and use the approved ones on the list. Depending on when you are taking the test, the link below indicates the two lists of approved ones before and after April 2015.

What is your nationality? Some English speaking countries are exempt from the English requirment.

My nationality is Icelandic, I don't believe it's on the exempt list.
I found this test that is nearest to me, they claim to be acceptable. http://eurospeak.org.uk/b1-test/ Are they? Is anyone familiar with this one?

Please click on the link I have provided which will list the accepted test providers. The approved test providers list is changing from 6th April 2015, so check on that list to ensure do the correct B1 English test.

If the place you have found is on the list, then I would imagine it is ok. It is a lot of money to lose if you do the wrong test and they refuse your application for naturalisation.

Hello. I am working my way to UK citizenship as spouse of brit. I am wanting to take a Life in the UK Test and it requires proof of address which I am struggling with, because all bills and paperwork comes either to his name or as mr&mrs Xxxx. We have a shared bank account but most of everything comes to his name. What should I do about this, please help me?

Why not use the Mr&Mrs letter or else change a bill into your name
- or use something specific to you, such as medical/doctors letter or EHIC letter (if you have UK EHIC card) or NI letter (if you have a NI number).

If you don't have any of these things why not apply for an EHIC card &/or NI number.
