Traveling to Ireland

Hi all, I am going to Ireland for 2 days in April and I'm holding a UK travel document do I need a visa? thank you

Are you going to Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland?

Depends on your nationality and if you would normally need a visa?

if you are a refugee with UNTD, then you may be able to go there without a visa. better check with the embassy as they keep changing the rules

OP was a Tier 1 then ILR and then applied Citizenship. Cov, can you confirm what you mean by this please

I don't see how you can be a refugee and a Tier 1 who has applied for naturalisation. If you are asking for information for another person, it would be helpful and less confusing if you state that when you start a thread.

I came to the UK as asylum seekers and was granted 5 years refugee state, after that in 2013 applied for ILR and now I have Indefinite leave to remain.

Eligibility criteria: 5 year Refugee state + 1 year ILR
Language criteria met ( B1 test):
Current nationality: Iraqi
Method of application: royal mail
Council name if NCS used: No
Date of application: 10/09/14
Payment method CC/DC, Personal cheque, Bankers cheque etc: CC
Date of receipt by UKBA: 15/09/14
Date of acknowledgment: 24/09/14
Date of debit or clearance of fees: 22/09/14
Date approval received: TBC :roll:
Date of ceremony:TBC

Best to contact the Embassy then, perhaps they will be able to work through the confusion of your UK visa status.
