Family visit visa

Hello, I have an advise to ask please.
I hold a British nationality, I live in London and would like my parents to visit me from India. Both my parents hold Indian nationality.
The problem is that I live with my mrs in a one bedroom flat and not sure what documents are required in terms of accommodation to get the family visit visa.
The website says
1) "details of where you plan to stay and your travel plans - you shouldn’t pay for accommodation or travel until you get your visa" - What would suffice here?
2) it then says under family documents section:
Family documents
You must also provide proof of the family member you’re visiting in the UK, including:
- a letter of invitation from them
- evidence of their financial and employment circumstances, eg bank statements or payslips
- evidence of their immigration circumstances in the UK showing they’re permanently settled or have asylum humanitarian status in the UK, eg a valid visa or immigration stamp in their passport
You must provide the original plus a photocopy of every document you provide.
Evidence of immigration will be my passport - How can I post my original passport to be shown there? I must be missing something!


Can someone shed some light on this please? Thanks in advance

Certified photocopies should be acceptable. You don't need to send your original passport for this.

Thanks, also if someone can advise me of the following:
1) "details of where you plan to stay and your travel plans - you shouldn’t pay for accommodation or travel until you get your visa" - What would suffice here? At the time of obtaining a visa, would a list of nearby B&Bs be ok here? Thanks
