Is jumping a red light on bicycle and fine from court a serious conviction? I had to go through court since there are no spot fines in ireland

Normally 2nd stage letter takes 6 weeks from the date you receive your first acknowledgement letter. It could take up to 9 weeks as there is ceremony on 10 April and the staff would be busy.

Dont worry Dar, There should be no problem. Everyone does not get in 3/4 months..many people have to wait longer. You will get it soon God willing. Just dont be much concerned about it. People with bigger offences got through.

Hi everybody I have a quick question if you could help me with that would he great. I want to apply for irish naturalization on the basis of being married to Irish Girl. We are married since June 2011 And live in Northern Ireland we have a son together too. I recently got my EEA2 residence card from Liverpool UK in March 2015. But I have been living in northern ireland since November 2010. I couldn't apply for EEA2 as I lost my passport and took me 3 years to get my passport back from pakistani high commission. So if anybody can tell me wether I can apply for irish naturalisation now or not. If I can please let me know what documents would I need.
Many thanks

You need to have Garda stamps on your passport I guess. I am not sure how that would work without stamps.

@All rang the Citizenship hotline today and I was told my file is now submitted to the Minister for decision. I know this can take a while to get a decision but it can also come back quickly who knows but all the same it's a step forward considering how long my application stayed on " AWAITING EXTERNAL AGENCIES/ GARDA REPORT".

@Beachboy, No it wasn't last week, that was around late January before they sent me a letter on the 10th of February saying my application has been put on hold pending the decision of my EU treaty right review. I received the EU treaty right decision on the 16th of March so I sent a copy of the decision letter to the Citizenship registry team on the 18th of March. I rang today to check the status of my application as I'm yet to receive an acknowledgement letter but was told by the lady on the phone that my application has been submitted to the Minister for decision and a decision will be made soon. I asked her when it was sent but she said she couldn't say because it only indicate the status of the application on her computer.
