GAP is not an issue for me as I came back to this country on Tier 1 General visa in May 2009 and got ILR in April 2014. However, I have a little bit conern on student visa, as below, which was granted to me almost 12 years before.CR001 wrote:Is there something specific you are concerned about?
HO have access to all your immigration records and can check history if necessary.
Your gap should be an issue if this is your concern as naturalisation is based on the 5 years immediately preceeding you AN application.
Thanks, this gives me a bit relief...Just getting worried before my naturalisation application.wmazhar wrote:I don't think so there would be an issue, students are open to choose their careers and their options can change with time.
When I came here I changed my course from financial engineering to computer science. I just got naturalization.
Home office mainly concerned about if you break any immigration laws like overstaying etc
