ILR v BC...urgent advice requested

Post by monitino » Fri Apr 03, 2015 11:09 pm

Hi guys
Would appreciate your thoughts/advice on my dillema. I had 5 year refugee status till May 2013..I was then granted ILR in August 2013. I am a single parent with 2 kids ..youngest born in UK. My questions are:
1) is it possible to apply for BC for myself only and apply for my children later...reason being i cannot afford the fee for the 3 of us at the moment and I need to travel to see my dying father..

2) if its possible to just apply for mine and apply for kids next year can i then travel with the kids. In which case I will be a holder of a UK passport and they will be having non-UK passports.

Your help will be most appreciated !!

Do your children have valid visas to re-enter the UK?

It would be the non-EU passport line as far as I am aware.
