Post by shamims178 » Sat May 02, 2015 3:12 pm

Hi,

I am on Tier 2 (General) visa. Had a baby born last year. I am planning to travel to India this year. Know I need a dependent visa for the baby, however need expert clarification to the following points please -

1. How do i apply i.e., which is the correct link/form to fill online?
2. How much should be the fund maintenance for 90 days period?
3. Is there a new Health charge we need to pay?
4. Any other relevant information pl?

Thank you in anticipation.

1. How do i apply i.e., which is the correct link/form to fill online? You need to complete PBS dependent form : https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... _04-15.pdf and also : https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... e_0415.pdf

2. How much should be the fund maintenance for 90 days period? See links in #1 above

3. Is there a new Health charge we need to pay? Yes, it is £200 per year, payable upfront, at the point of application, for the duration of the visa issued. So if visa is for three years, you will need to pay £600 surcharge on top of the visa application fees. https://www.gov.uk/healthcare-immigrati ... cation/pay

4. Any other relevant information pl?

Hello,

Thank you so much for all your replies. You guys are really doing a great job!

I hope you don't mind if I ask you a few more questions please.

In the form itself -

1. What should I write in section K, for the child born in the UK please?

2. How much balance for 90 days to be shown if the application is made ONLY for the dependent child under Tier 2. Should it be £630 only OR £630 + £945 (for main applicant) as well?

3. What documents we need to submitted with the application?

I understand -

a. Original passport of child
b. Original birth certificate of child
c. Original Bank statement
d. 2 photos

Do I as a main applicant need to submit my original passport, visa, address proof etc as well?

4. Finally, should it be the option with £651 (Tier 2 General, ICT......) in section A this application falls in?

Your kind response to the above queries would be highly appreciable.

Best regards,

Shaz
