Visiting Republic of Ireland on UK ILR

Post by prabhakaran » Tue May 05, 2015 10:27 pm

Hi,

Is it possible to visit Republic of Ireland on UK ILR for holiday or short visit? Wouldn't British Irish Visa Schema allow this?

With regards,
Prabhakaran

What is your nationality?

If you would normally need a visa from your home country, then you certainly would need one even with UK ILR.

Rep of Ireland is not part of the UK immigration rule system. ILR is for the UK.
