Visit visa application for spouse from Islamabad

Hello,

Does anyone have knowledge of whats the chances of success for getting a 6 months visit visa to UK from Islamabad by a spouse of a British national who does not want to apply for spouse settlement visa straight away?

Risky and recently there have been a few refusals. It will depend on what the spouse is showing as evidence of strong ties and circumstances to home country, spouse finances and commitments in home country etc. Quite difficult to prove and convince ECO if British spouse is in the UK.

What if the British spouse is in Pakistan for the last couple of months and also had been in Pakistan for 4 to 5 months in the last year?

The Pakistani spouse will still have to provide a lot of evidence to prove ties to the home country.
