I applied for a tier 2 dependent visa and i got an email saying.

Your UK visa application has now been processed and a decision has been made. What does this mean?

It means they have made a decision. It is a standard response regardless of a refusal or approval.

You will have to wait until you collect your documents to find out what the outcome of your application is.

Can you tell me when you applied you r visa and how long it took for them to come back to you with the results.

My husband is going to apply this Friday afternoon as a tier2 dependent under standard service. I wanted to know how long it will take to process the application eventhough it will depend on individual application .

Hi Deepam,

My appointment date was on 08th may 2015.
I got an email saying its been processed on 18th May 2015
My passport was received on 19th may 2015
So effectively - 6 - 8 working days

thank you so much for your response. We paid 56000 application fee ( for 3 years PBS Dependent Tier 2 general) and 70000 rupees ( for 3 years IHS Immigration service) .Is this what you paid as i heard from my friend that they paid 90000 rupees .

One more query, do you received BRP Card or Vignette stamp on passport. Do you got 30 days visa so that you can collect BRP once you enter UK within 10 days ? if you got just a stamp , is that stated the valid visa from the intended date you mentioned on the application?

Any info on this would be quite helpful as my husband got his appointment on friday in the afternoon.
