child benfit for my 16 year old son

Hello all

I have just been granted Indefinate leave stutus in the country. I have been under different catogories of temporary stay for the past 9 years so had no recourse to pubic funds but now can claim benefits
My son turned 16 on 17th May 2015 and we received ILR 8/6/2015.
Can I make a Child Benefit claim for him as he will be continuing his studies into college and then university. What documents will be required for this claim.

You can only claim child benefit if he is in full time education up to the age of 19 and it does not include studying at university. Child Benefit 16-19 (Click)
