Help please

Post by ilrapplication » Sun Jun 14, 2015 11:14 am

Hi,

I am going to apply for naturalization next month along with my wife.
My background is 5yrs T1G + 1 yr ILR and my wife got ILR as my dependant. Now I am working part time (20 hrs/w) and my wife does not work as she looks after our little daughter under 2 years old. We claim CTC, CB, Council discount, housing benefits. I have a couple of questions if someone can help with them please:-

* can these benefits effect our naturalisation application?
* what should I write in section 3 about wife?

Appreciate your help and sorry if these have asked and answered before.

Regards

you taking benefits has no impact.

nothing needs to be mentioned about ur wife.. only the mandatory bits it asks on the form

* can these benefits effect our naturalisation application? No, you are entitled to claim benefits if you have ILR
* what should I write in section 3 about wife? Employment is not a requirement for citizenship. You can write 'Housewife' or 'unemployed'
