EmanuelJames, as it is now, you just have to be patient and remain calm and positive. It's still going to take further weeks/few months to bring your case to finality. Anyone have an idea on what could happen next? as my solicitor just sent them a copy of my new GNIB last week? Any idea?
A submission is being prepared or already prepared and forwarded to the Minister for a final decision, an approval hopefully. You're almost there and most likely you're to follow in the next batch of approvals after July 17th. Did you have a court case/conviction, fines (paid/unpaid)? And if, were they disclosed in your application form? Will be helpful to have these facts from you before one can give a sound advice. In all, do not despair, it's only a matter of time for you to get an approval. Good luck.emmanueljames wrote:Hi pals. Good you disclosed the crime issue initially and now I think your solicitor is in a better position to elaborate on this to the INIS as requested and to explain the circumstances relating to the crime but more importantly an assurance from you that you're now a remorseful and changed person who wouldn't dare go back to engaging yourself with any criminal activities again. I'll also think you should talk to your local TD about this development and see if he/she can make representations on your behalf as it would be re-assuring to the INIS also.
