Road to ILR

I am a 23 yr old with Msc (eng) from UK. I did that with a Tier 4 visa I was in UK for 288 days.... I am now planning to do a PhD in UK. If I get PhD i get visa for 3yrs and 4 months. If I renew my Tier 4 visa as a part of Doctorate Extension scheme for 12 months can I be eligible for an ILR?

You would need to be resident in the UK for 10 years to qualify for ILR if you want to remain as a student. Tier 4 itself for 5 years does not lead to ILR.
