Travelling abroad-Parents on ILR & Child on Tier 1 dependent

Hi,

I recently got settlement visa with my family except my younger son who was born in UK. We are planning to register him as a British citizen and apply for a British passport. As we have travel plans this month, we haven't applied it as I understand the process would take 2-3 months. However he has got valid Tier 1 Dependent visa till February-2017. I hope I can travel abroad with my family for a short trip and come back to UK. I would really appreciate if you could confirm this.

He can travel as long as he has a valid visa when he returns to the UK.
