Separating from Wife

Hi All,
I am on Tier 2 visa which expires in Dec 2015.My company is ready to sponsor me again.I was married 18 months ago and my wife came to UK on March 2014 and left the country again on March 2015. I have sent divorce documents from UK to INDIA and a divorce has been filed in INDIA .I would like to cancel her dependant visa as I don't want her to come back to UK and create any nuisance here.Can anyone please tell me what's the process to cancel the dependant visa and how long will it take ?

You can't really cancel the visa. All you can do is notify HO of the changes in circumstances. See link below.

I had applied for divorce in INDIA when we were in INDIA .I returned back after applying for divorce in INDIA.Suddenly she showed up in UK recently.She does not have any job and is living in my Flat.So i came out and living seperatley.
1. Do i need to look after her maintenance as she is on dependant visa and we are not legally divorced .I searched in immigration website but could not find any relevant information

Until you get legal divorce documents, you need to take care of her....at least as humanity is concerned....

Have you informed UKVI about change of your circumstances through the link provided by CR001? If yes, then you should be fine from UKVI side but according to law you should be giving adequate maintenance to your wife until you get legal separation documents.

She is already taking unfair advantage of you by suddenly showing up and made you leave your flat for her (so she should also give some respect to humanity) even when the separation is filled. She could have stayed in India while you paying maintenance to her there until the legal formalities completed. But I think she is trying to cost you a fortune. Advice would be to consult a lawyer and try sorting out things between you and her through discussion. Take care of her meanwhile for the sake of humanity (which you are already doing so by giving her shelter and by showing concerned about her maintenance).

I hope your matter will be resolved soon which will result something better for both of you.
