Hi All,

I am posting on behalf of my friend. Both he and his wife are on ILR and kids are British. He was jobless and on benefits when he got a letter from his landlord to vocate the property. He tried to find suitable accommodation but was unsuccessful and case gone to the court. He got letters from the court but did not appear to court. He already informed council about this.but the council said we can't do anything thing until you become homeless.

Lastly he got a final letter from court that the baliff will come to your door on a specified date and will take possession. And this happened and council arranged temporary accommodation and then permanent place for them.

This all happened 4 months ago. Now the question is he is applying for citizenship, will this affect his application?
