Which British passport office is faster in processing the application? Peterbrough or Durham or others?

It makes no difference, they all do the same checks and you will just need to wait for them. It does not generally take long but depends how busy they are and at this time of year, they are busier than normal.

FYI, I sent my daughters application to Belfast (I live in London) and my daughter got her passport within 2.5 weeks.
