UKBA Ref Number

Post by milindsm » Sun Jul 19, 2015 8:07 pm

Hello All,

I am trying the book "Life in the UK" test on-line. It is asking for something called Home Office reference number. The number that I have from the previous communications is 8 digit (only) number but the on-line application gives an error - The Home Office reference normally starts with 1 to 3 letters followed by numbers, is no longer than 13 characters and not less than 7 characters

Any idea?

Thanks

Do you have a BRP card. Have you tried this reference number (tip right hand corner) as it should start with letters.

There is a separate box for entering the BRP number which I have entered correctly. For Home office reference number, I am picking up the number mentioned against Our Ref in UKBA communication letter.
