section 1.53 employment 10 years or 5 years

Hi, I completed my degree and Left UK in 2008 November.
Then came back to UK on Tier 2 in August 2009 got ILR in 2014, now going to apply for Naturalisation.
For section 1.53 should I ONLY include employment history from 2009 entry (5 years) as my current application is based on this period only (5 years + 1 year). Any expert comment on this please ?

I did part time jobs prior to 2008 as student, do I really need to include those (for 10 year period), considering the fact that my residency 2004-2008 as a student had no part on my ILR application?

The form asks for 10 year employment history, if you have more than 5 years employment history (any employment), you need to complete all the information. If you do not complete it and they check you have worked and not declared it, it could create a problem.

ILR and citizenship are two very different applications with very different rules and requirements.

Thanks CR001. I was concerned because its difficulat to get an exact account for those works before 2008, however, all works were done for one employer (part time University work and 3 months full time contract after dissertation), I just dont know the dates. I presume I can put approximate dates or period. Many Thanks

If you worked for the same employer while studying you could put it like this :

Sept 2006 to Dec 2008 : XYZ Ltd (part time/fixed term during studies)

And then detail employment history for your permanent positions etc.
