Hi Guys,

My application has been received in by HO today 07Nov.
But no payment is deducted (Visa Debit Card).
What is the maximum time for charging the debit card?
Where we can call to check why it is not charged?

Hi ayazahmed,

Typically they debit card payments in 1 day.you can call up homeoffice and find out the status.

Decision taken

Hi All,

I just received a mail stating that a decision has been taken on my hsmp initial application. I have been instructed to arrange for a courier pick-up within 14 days.

I am located in Pune, India. Can people please let me know the best and safest way of getting my documents back? Details on courier services and procedural details would be welcome. I would also like to know the costs associated with each option.

My timelines:

Application sent: 25th October
Application received: 29th October
Got decision mail and ref no: 8th November.

I paid through SBI DD, so I guess clearing that took most of the time.

Awaiting your valuable inputs on getting the documents and decision letter.

Yes,u were right.DD payments take around 1 week of clearence time.

in regard to your courier pickup,contact Shiefflied MBE mailbox .they have special scheme for HSMP applicants. Read in this forum they provide good service.

I do not know the decision yet. The mail just says that a decision has been taken.

They have stopped telling decisions on phone.

I will come to know the decision once I receive the documents.

Did you receive e-mail with applcation num?

Mine is same case as yours but not received any application number yet.My payment is through visa credit card. My application was received yesterday...

Lucky you...
I have not received any mail yet. Maybe they take longer for credit card payments
BTW did you send ur application by courier..and did you send it to adress: 7th floor.fountain presinct.....

Decision Made: 01-NOV-07
Received Approval Letter and all Docs: 07-NOV-07

Looking forward for E.C application.

hsmp pune,

I too have not received any reference num yet....I sent my application on 6th received on 7th and my credit card was charged just today. Its quite strange how they handle this and why they took so long to take payment inspite of being an in-country applicant.
I called home office yesterday..they informed me my application is in process..so it may take few days.
