Tier 1 (General) - Dependant English Language

Hello Experts,
I have a query about the English language requirement.
I am the dependant of the the main applicant and we are completing 5 years in UK and soon will be applying for our ILR.
Regarding English language requirement, will my Australian University degree fulfil the requirement of English language?
The degree reads as "Post Graduate Diploma in Multimedia"
Reason for my question is, as it is not a Masters Degree (I enrolled for Masters, but due to unforeseen circumstances, could not gain masters) will it still be considered as equivalent for English Language requirement for ILR?

Are you Australian or did you only study in Australia and another nationality?

Are you sure it is a university degree? A diploma would not be acceptable to meet the English requirement.

Thank you for your reply.
I studied in Australia and I am of Indian national.
This degree is obtained from Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia. http://www.swinburne.edu.au/ -- It is a well recognised university.
So yes, the degree is obtained from a renowned university in Australia.

Post Graduate Diploma is "particularily popular in anglo-saxon countries and offering a degree between Bachelor's and Master level. A postgraduate diploma can be normally started after the completion of a bachelor's degree and is typically to be completed in half the time of a comparable Master's programme."
I feel this should be qualified for Engligh Language requirement for ILR.
But please kindly advice.
