Where can I find visa reference number on UK general visa?

Hi,

I need help in finding the visa reference number on UK general visit visa.
I need it to enter in flight booking.Help needed urgently.

If the visa is a vignette in the passport (which it should be), then the visa number is in the top right hand corner. Starts with a couple of letters I think.

Thanks for the reply but I suppose for the visa reference number,the number on the right hand side in the passport is starting with nos. 0 1 rather than Letter O and letter I ,if I can read correctly.
Anyways once while boarding the flight, they can check the visa right in case those given on top right are letters and not digits.

It might be a number yes, HO might use different numbering for different categories (spouse, visitor, etc). I have never had a visitor visa, only an Ancestral visa in my passport.
