FLR(M) queries

Hi - I'm not too sure if i am posting in the right area of this website - but i am really needing advise

I am currently in the process of filling out the FLR (M) application form so I can stay in the UK with my British husband (I am from Australia and arrived in the UK on the Tier 5 work visa 1 year and 10 months ago). Basically in terms of correspondence to prove the legitimacy of our relationship - he is still lacking one piece of correspondence but I have a letter from home office addressed to him at our current address from when we gave notice to get married - could I enter this as his last form of correspondence (for the bit about our relationship)?? Thank you so much in advance to anyone who could help me

Yes, but you should also include photos from your wedding, time spent together etc.

Thank you so much for your response !! Another thing -- once i have sent my application off am i allowed to remain in the country - my visa expires on the 24th Nov but I have heard that sometimes processing times for this kind of visa can take up to 8 weeks?

You retain your legal status while the application is being processed, even if your current visa expires in the meantime.

So i sent my visa application (FLR M) off in the post on the 27 September special delivery and it arrived and was signed for the next day. The money came out of my account a couple of days after that but I haven't received any sort of email or postal confirmation that they are looking at it -- should i be concerned or it is usual that there is a delay on this?

Yes, postal applications can take a while.
