how long will administrative review take?!!!!

Hi,

I applied for AR for my approved tier 2 visa due to the error made in the length of leave to remain in the BRP. In the instructions it states that the home office aims to give a result within 28 days. Is there any way I can contact the home office to get the status of my application? (other than email cause i've tried and they are pretty much not saying anything) If there is anyone else applied for AR, how long did it take for you to get the results?

You only applied for AR in the last week, just be a bit patient.

I know I have to be patient but i was meant to start work 3 weeks ago and this error that could have been easily sorted is making me agitated. I do apologise if I sound whiny and impatient but i'm afraid of losing my job due to this.

Just a quick question to confirm, i am legally allowed to stay in the country until i get the result from AR even if my current visa has expired right?

It appears it might just be a typo error. You should have gone back to the Sheffield PSC where you applied to get this resolved.

You mean I can actually go to the Sheffield PSC without booking an appointment? Cause i tried calling home office and emailing them to get the sheffield PSC contact information but they wouldn't tell me and none of them said I could go the the PSC.

There have been members in the past that have been able to do this (Croydon PSC) and get things sorted when it was clearly an error by the caseworker. Not sure if it still still possible or only applicable to certain PSCs.

Just out of interest, have you checked that your CoS was issued correctly and not perhaps an error there?
