ILR for a baby born overseas

Hi Experts,
I don't know if I am posting this question on the right platform.
I have a question:
If both parents of a baby have ILR and baby is born overseas. What will be the baby immigration status?
Will parents have to apply for a dependent visa for the baby first in order to bring baby to UK?
When and how baby will get the Citizenship?

The child has no immigration status in the UK. You will have to apply for a child settlement visa. Child might be eligible for citizenship once parents have obtain citizenship.

Obviously if child is born in the UK and either parent has ILR, the child is automatically British.

To be eligible for British citizenship, the born-abroad child will be expected to have settled status (ILE/ILR) and at least one parent to have acquired British citizenship.
