I will be applyting for citizenship in March 2015, in preparation would like your advise/suggestion concerning the issue below and the implication for my citizenship application.
In March 2014, I received a letter from the police asking for the details of the drive of my car. The offence as stated on the letter was that a neighbour had called the police that and gave them my car registration that I had hit their and not stopped at the scene.
in addition to the name of the driver, the police also asked that I should put forward my own version of the incident which I did.
After the police received my response, an officer was sent to my home and that of my neighbout to investigate as needed. During the visit of the officer to me and my neighbour, I was made to understand that since my neighbour could not produce any evidence or eye witness, there is no case to answer.
To cut the long story short, a letter was received in the post some weeks later confirming that I have no case to answer.
Should I declare this information when I come to file in my citizenship application please? Since I had no case to answer, is there any implication if I do not declare same information?
Thank you
