I had been told 2 weeks ago that my application is being prepared submit to minister and today I have sent an email regarding about sent my new copy of GNIB to citizenship and asked the person of my application status. He told me that my application is still in second stage and I do not know how long will be in second stage. I had received a letter in relation to second stage on 9th Sep, 2015. Kingdom Man or anyone has clue ??

Not to worry mate! You're right on course and should have your application approved soon and maybe in to the new year. Keep positive.

I have read someone here who just got approved after 4 years of waiting.. I am still very hopeful too and who knows, mine could happen for me in the next coming year 2016. For now, I enjoy life and all it gives! Thanks all the same and have you gotten your letter of invitation to the coming ceremony yet? I wish you well mate!

At last guys i got my approval after waiting 4 years.
I applied december 2011. Had a traffic offence which caused the delay. My application was prepared to be sent to the minister since april this year after further documents were requested. got approved 18 november

what kind of offences you have ?
was you ever appear in court ?? was you ever convicted for any thing ?

is not possible to give an exact timeframe, this office will be in touch
with you as soon as a decision has been reached (I'm sure is copy and paste lol). What do you think?

I honestly think that your approval is in the offing and most likely the INIS are preparing you down for inclusion in the new sets of approvals after this December ceremony. You look good for January/February citizenship ceremony and it's not too far away when you look back at your journey. Keep positive sir!

Today I got my approval.... so over the moon.... Was away working in the UK this morning when I got the news... I couldn't wait to get home and read the letter myself .... Here again is my time line: July 14- INIS received my application
Oct. 06- INIS issued my 2nd stage letter (I received it on 07th of OCT)
Nov. 18- My approval was issued (This was received today 19/11/2015)
Next Plan , I will post my GNIB Card and 950 Euro tomorrow. Would let you guys know if I get invited to December 14 Ceremony.....

Congrats! You may get lucky for December ceremony as I know someone who got the invitation one week before the date and he sent the gees 2 weeks before the ceremony date.

Big congrats bro! I'm so delighted at the news of your approval.. It came just in good time for you. Like DTD suggested, you could still be invited for this December ceremony but if not, January ceremony is a sure bet now. Wish you all the best as you wait inline to recieve your naturalisation certificate.

it was for no insurance. i appeared in court and was fined 300 euro which i paid and declared to inis at the initial stage of application but that didnt change anything. i was requested on 3 different occassions for further documents. on the 3 requested i got a lawyer involved to address requested and there after was sent a letter that application was at the submission department in april this year. i went to my local minister for help a month ago. He sent them a letter which they responded to explaining my application was at the submission department. i gave up after that thought i had no chance but sent a request to them via email and an attachment of my approval was sent to me. one thing i didnt stop doing was keeping constant contact with them. i will request for an update every few weeks

Guys, I see few mentions of January/February ceremony.

Were there any news from INIS that there will be a ceremony in January/February?

I understand usually there is one (like this year), but then in that case there wasn't a big ceremony in December the year before.

My feeling was that since we have a big ceremony in December 15, there won't be any other until March?

You should be mindful that each applicant/invitees have different times and slots for the ceremony, so, that A has a time for 8.20am does not imply that B will have for 8.20am too. It's about 3 - 4 different slots and times for the day depending on the number of invited approved applicants.

It is very possible. I think you should receive your approval in the next coming week(s). Bar any complications, you should be among the next batches of approvals. Have faith man, you are nearly there....
