How long can we stay under Tier 2 ICT?

Hello,

I am a non-EEA national and was working for my current employer for 15+ months outside the UK. I was then transferred on a Visa (Tier 2 Intra Company Transfer) to the UK.

30-March-2010: My UK Visa was issued
10-April-2010: I physically arrived in the UK.

My Tier 2 ICT Long Term Staff Visa has been subsequently renewed by the company in 2013 and now in 2015, and it is now valid till December 2018.

I wanted to know as to how many more renewals can we get under Tier 2 Intra Company Transfer Visa?

If your visa is pre 6 April 2010, you can apply for ILR already if that is your goal.

I am NOT looking to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain

On the website of https://www.gov.uk/tier-2-intracompany- ... a/overview it says

The maximum stay for each type of Tier 2 (Intra-company Transfer) visa is:

• Long-term Staff (if you earn more than £155,300 per year): 9 years
  Long-term Staff (if you earn less than £155,300 per year): 5 years, 1 month

But it does not mention since when is this rule valid from ...

Given that I successfully applied for extension of my Tier 2 ICT Visa in Croydon after around 5.5 years of my initial Visa, the above condition probably does not allow to me, even though my annual pre-tax salary is less than 155,300. Is this true?

Also will it be true for my spouse who received my Tier 2 dependent Visa in 2014?
