If your wife is earning at least £18,600 a year you can switch from your student visa to a spouse settlement visa on form FLR(M). If you have income from employment you can combine your earnings with your wife's income to meet the £18,600 annual earnings.

You would also have to pass the A1 level English test. The visa fee for a postal application is £649 + the NHS surcharge of £500. If you apply in person the visa fee would be £1049 + NHS surcharge of £500.

What is your immigration status (British, ILR)?

Does your husband have any earnings or do you have any savings?]

When does his current visa expire?

She'll have to earn that amount somehow - two jobs, three; we've all had to do it to get what we want...

Options;

1. Renew visa (expensive)
2. Surinder Singh EU route (move to EU for a year)
3. Relocate to Morocco
4. Return home, wait until you can fulfil the visa requirements and apply.

I think one's the wife and the other is the husband.

Yes, I know, but the same rules apply. They are one household and rather than have multiple threads asking the same questions and to avoid creating confusion, they should ask under one username.
