What is your immigration history?
Your baby was born abroad, the baby is not British and not entitled to register as British at this time. Why do you think your baby can register as British?
What visa is your partner on or what is your partners immigration status?
i applied already for settlement visa for my wife most one year ago,and got refuse they said that there is no enough evidence about our relation, and i did appeal and i provided to my solicitor all documents help in this matter,my son born and still waiting for replay for hearing .really am lostCR001 wrote:Your child is not British at all.
You will need to apply for settlement visas for both of them (assuming your wife is also coming to the UK for the first time). Child's visa will be issued for the same duration as your wife and they will both have to wait 5 years before qualifying for ILR.
You will have to meet the financial requirement of £22,400pa for them to qualify. Your wife will need English A1 level from one of the approved test providers.
Is your wife also applying for a visa to come and live in the UK or only the child?
