Applying settelement visa for infant baby (4 months old)

Hello All, I know this could be a duplicate one but really need to get the docs right.

I am an ILR holder and my husband is a British citizen. My baby is 4 months old. We are applying for family settlement visa "to join family living permanently in the UK". Kid born in India with Indian passport.

We know we could go for British passport directly but that is taking around 8 months in many cases even though it is straight forward. so opted to go for Indian passport and then apply for Right to abode.

Can anyone please help me with the list of documents to be submitted.

The list which I thought were required was

1. Child passport
2. Passport copies of both the parents
3. Mother's Visa copy
4. Invitation letter
5. Sponsor letter
6. Appendix 2 and VFA4 Finances applications duly filled
7. Sponsorship form
8. Bank statements and pay slips
9. Employer letter
10. Utility bills
11. Rental agreement
12. Cover letter
13. P60 form

Are any other documents required. And can I know what are important points to be highlighted in the sponsor letter.

Hi vinny,

May I know why it's not applicable. I know that he's eligible for a British citizenship directly. But we would like to go for a settlement visa. Can you kindly tell me why can't we apply for a settlement visa.
