What is the name of the penalty?londonukguy wrote:Hi guys
I have got some problem
Received a penalty charge from NHS due to not paying prescription charges.
Its a mistake as pharmacist say if you can qualify tax credit and did not ask for certificate.
Would it have any impact on naturlization application that im applying in few months time.
Penalty charges is £80 and have to pay perscription as well.
You may be able to appeal such a penalty as per NHS Act 2006 which states (sect 193, subsection 8 )londonukguy wrote:It's just said penalty due to not paying prescription
There is no name on it
It came from NHS business centre.
However if such a penalty really was incurred then it is advisable to declare it on application form.(8)But a person is not liable by virtue of a penalty notice— (b)to a penalty charge, or a further sum by way of penalty, if he shows that he did not act wrongfully, or with any lack of care, in respect of the charge or payment in question
