Tier 2 ict short term staff migrant to Tier 2 gen switching

Hi,
My ict short term staff migrant visa started from 10th july 2015(i filled OTP for 12 months), now I completed almost 5 months stay in UK, Now I got an offer from another employer who can sponsor for me, Now if I go to my home country and apply for Tier 2 general, Do i need to serve 12 months cooling period ? even though i stayed lessthan 6 months with ICT visa.

this new offer is big one for me please help me in this?

just one more is there any alternatives for me to come back UK, if I change my employer?

Besides Tier 2 General, the only options you might have depends on your circumstances,

- spouse visa if your have a British spouse or spouse on ILR
- Ancestry visa depending on which country you are from and your grandparents birth nationality
- PBS Dependent visa if you have a spouse who has their own Tier 2.

If you can't do any of the alternatives, you will have to wait 12 months cooling off period to change to Tier 2 General.
