ILR Dependant visa appl'n from India for child born in UK

Hi,

I have received my ILR on 01 Aug 2015 (Visa route via Tier 1 General from Aug 2010) , applied and received PBS dependant visa for my wife.
My daughter's born in UK on 23 Apr 2015.

Both my wife and daughter are in India now (went last month) and now I want to apply dependant visa for my daughter.

What should I select when I apply dependant visa from VFS India (http://www.vfsglobal.co.uk/india/)?
1) Reason for Visit - Work, Visa Type - Tier 1 (General) - dependants Only, Visa Sub Type - Tier 1 (General) Child
OR
2) Reason for Visit - Settlement , Visa Type - Settlement , Visa Sub Type - Child or Other Dependant of Settled Person

I'm confused because some say I can apply visa via Work route and some say I can apply via Settlement route.

Please Help!

Option 1.

The childs visa will be issued in line with the mother's visa.

1) Reason for Visit - Work, Visa Type - Tier 1 (General) - dependants Only, Visa Sub Type - Tier 1 (General) Child

If this is what it gives you then this is what you choose. As I said, option 1.

Option 2 'Settlement' is not one you can choose as your spouse is not applying for a settlement visa.
