Lahore visa Application Center submiting biometric

Post by usman816 » Mon Dec 14, 2015 12:19 pm

Hello Everyone,
Tomorrow is my appointment at Lahore visa application center for spouse visa. I need information about what documents are needed to submit my biometrics. I read some where that I need to print the online application and take this with me at VAC. I'm little confuse about that coz all the supporting documents are now submitted by the sponser in uk so why they need application here in lhr. Can someone please share there experience regarding the submission of biometrics and passport at lhr center. Thanks

Hey,
Today I went to visa center and submitted my biometrics, they only need online application print to scan the bar code and don't include this with application pack. They only collect passport, finger prints, digital signature and picture. They also need one passport size picture which they attach to some form.
note: This information is for spouse/ settlement visa.

Did you specify your intended travel date?

Then the start date of validity may be the date of the decision. You should travel within 30 days of this date.

Hey,
I just got an email from Sheffield Visa Section:
"Unfortunately, the processing of your application has not been straightforward and we will be unable to decide your application within our customer service targets. We are continuing to work on your application and aim to make a decision as soon as possible."
Is any thing serious or they just send generic messages when they are unable to meet the deadline to process the visa. Also how long they will take after this email to process most of the applications?

Highly likely to be a generic message to cover themselves for falling behind with processing applications within the published guidelines. No one can tell you how long this will take.
