ILR and dependent Tier4

Post by lhrtoleh » Tue Dec 22, 2015 9:59 pm

I got ILR in this month under long residency I have two kids born UK whom I am going to apply nationality MN1, however my wife is on my dependent as tier 4 and her visa is valid until Jan 2017. As i was student for last 10 years and not able to show maintenance 18500 for FLR(M). So my question is can my wife continue with the dependent visa until Jan 2017 meanwhile if i get good job then i will switch her visa into FLR(M) or do i have to apply FLR (FP) ? please advise as your reply will be much appreciated. thanks

You can apply on FLR(FP) or if there are no travel plans, she might be able to wait till you get a job and can provide 6 months payslips and bank statements.

It is not 'maintenance'. It is your annual salary you have to show.

MN1 can take as long as 6 months, sometimes longer.

I am not sure what the timelines are for FLR(FP). There is a thread on this if you do a search.
