Tier2 Dependent to Main App Vice versa

Hi i am on Tier2 G Visa and my wife is on Tier2 Dependent visa.

If my wife get Tier2 sponsorship certificate she have to apply Tier2 G from her home country.

1) How about me can I apply as dependent of her Tier 2 G visa from UK once she have her Tier2 G visa or I have to apply with her out of UK.?

2)I am asking above question because I am approaching 10 in UK and planning to apply for 10 year LR ILR in 1.5 year(i have to wait for 1.5 year to cover initial gap of 360days). So i don't want to risk new entry clearance?

You can apply for Tier 2 Dependent while in the UK once your wife returns on her Tier 2 G visa.

Does cooling off period apply to me or my wife?

Currently I am on Tier2 G visa and my wife is on Tier2 Dependent Visa.

My wife planning to apply for Tier2 G as a main applicant from home country, and I am planing to switch to her dependent visa.

Does cooling off period apply to me or my wife?

I appreciate you help.
