ILR eligibility - Tier 2 ICT dependent to Tier 2 General

Post by glchandana » Thu Dec 31, 2015 11:00 pm

Hi,

I held the below visas in the duration mentioned:
4th Apr 2014 to 27th Dec 2014 (Tier-2 ICT short-term dependent visa)
20th Mar 2015 to 10th Dec 2015 (Tier-2 ICT long-term dependent visa)
11th Dec 2015 onwards Tier 2 General (valid until Dec 2018), extendable to 2 more years

Please advise if I am eligible to apply for ILR after 5 years of my stay in UK. Will my duration of stay in UK as Tier-2 ICT dependent be considered for ILR?

No, it will not. You can only combine different visa categories for ILR based on 10 years long residence.

You will need to wait 5 years on Tier 2 General before you will qualify for ILR, you cannot combine your dependent time with the Tier 2 G main applicant time.
