Money Sent to Spouse in Pakistan

Post by Optimizer » Tue Dec 22, 2015 9:31 am

Hi Guys,
I have to apply the settlement visa for my wife in Pakistan. I live in UK. We are married for 2 years. My question is about the issue below

according to
Update of Spouse Visa Application from Pakistan
8. Money Sent to Spouse: If you have been apart for some time, it would be better if you send your spouse some spending money that they might need for themselves. Ideally the husband should send some thing like £100-150 every 4 months or so. This should be sent via a bank or a money exchanger and the receipt kept as proof.( The wife should not send that often as it will go against our norm and culture) DO NOT SEND CASH BY GIVING IT TO FRIENDS AND RELATIVES TO GIVE IT TO YOUR SPOUSE AS YOU WILL HAVE NO PROOF) . Sending money is good evidence and shows that you are caring and supportive of your spouse.

I send money every month to my family back home in Pakistan, but with the name of my Mother and then she gives specific amount of money to my wife. Because we live in joint-family-system. I did not know this, that I should had to send money with the name of my wife, otherwise I could do so. But now it is too late to know. Can British embassy consider this thing or I have just lost? Please share with me your knowledge.

What you have quoted is NOT immigration rules. It is a guidance ONLY created by member Batleykhan.

You need to prove you meet the financial requirement and you need to provide evidence of communication, visits and subsisting marriage.

Does your spouse work?

If she worked she could provide proof of her earnings. But because you answer no to my question, there is nothing more to add.

Question about IHS/Online UK Form (very confused)

Post by Optimizer » Mon Dec 28, 2015 11:45 am

Hi All,
I have filled up and submitted the online form for visa application. On behalf of my wife. She is coming with one dependant child from Pakistan. Clearly mentioned on the application form. But When I have reached to the IHS page to pay for the IHS charges, it come only one person to pay and with the text "You don't have any dependants" . Very confusing for me.

Do I have to fill up separate online application for my child as well???

Please help me. I'm very confused.

Have you paid the visa application fee and if so, how much was it?

I stand corrected, but I think you need a form for each applicant.

That's also my understanding

Dear CR001 and Casa, thanks for the answers, but as most senior members, I thought you people will be sure.

I could not pay the application fee before paying the IHS fee. Because IHS fee comes before application fee, when you do online application fee.

Is it some new situation/question that If some mother is applying with her child, for the settlement visas, then they have to do two separate online forms? If you are sure guys, then I can start straightway.

Can I start mates? Are you Sure about it?

You are assuming that we have been through the online application process. Without going through the process or setting up an account on UKVI, I cannot see what the options are you are being asked. I have looked at the VAF4A paper form and cannot see a space to INCLUDE dependents. I did paper forms for all my processes and all done way before IHS was introduced.

Naming a child as 'traveling with parent' is not a child application, merely a statement.

The child needs their own application form and IHS payment and IHS reference number from what I understand of the process.

Different Appendix forms......confusion.

Post by Optimizer » Sun Jan 03, 2016 3:11 pm

Hi guys,
My question is about Appendix form. When I started to fill up online form for my wife, for settlement visa from Pakistan, I been showed or asked to fill this from "VAF4A-Appendix2.pdf".
when I started to fill up my few mounths old child's online form, I been showed or told to fill up different form "vaf4a1.pdf". Do I have not to fill up the same from for both of them?
Please tell me which form I have to do for my wife and which one for my few months old child? Please give me answer carefully, because I'm totally confused about these forms.

thanks

It was entirely different question. Which you attached with this question.
Well, the control is not in my hands, so I can't do nothing. I don't know how I will get the answers now, when my question has got mixed up with different question.

let see, that who will see this question to reply....

Everyone can "see" a new post (question or not), even if it is not a "new topic" ... just like you "saw" mine and I've "seen" yours.
If you expect to create 100 topics to ask 100 questions about 1 settlement visa application, you are in the wrong place!!

And why do you think the online application process is misguiding you and telling you do something that is not required to be done? Unless you are choosing the wrong options to begin with!!
