MN1 form for 5yo. help please

Hi,

this has been a great forum and I had benefited a lot from this forum in the past years.
I am now filling up MN1 form for my 5yo kid and appreciate your experience and answers.

background: Kid was born aborad while I was on Tier-1, later joined me in the UK when he was 7 months old in the year 2011 and immediately myself,wife and kid all obtained our ILR's.
Since then in 2012 I was naturalized as british while the kid and wife are on ILR till to date.
Now I am thinking registering my kid as british under section 3 (1)
appreciate your help on following questions.
1. Am i correct that I need to fill MN1 form under section 3(1)
2. I am planning to chose the NCS route, am i eligible for this?
3. How do i pay the fee if i chose the NCS route?
4. Supporting documents (copy of my pp, wife's pp, kids pp, marriage certificate, birth certificate of kid) are they enough or am I missing anything else?

3. Same way as one does when applying directly - by filling up the payment page and including it with the application.
4. Read the MN1 guidance and form.

I am a bit nervous about the supporting documents required for my case as HO guidelines were very vague.
Anyone who have done MN1 under section 3(1) please share the supporting documents that they had used to support their application.

1) Yes.
Is wife naturalising too?

2) Yes, NCS is a prudent & wise choice.

3) By cheque or card using payment form (same as if applying directly)

4) Payment form; BRPs; minor's passport of entry to UK; full BC
ie all as per MN1 guidance notes.

Can someone please help me as to the size of the photograph of the kids?
I read the guide lines for MN1 and application form both but could not find the dimensions of the photograph required.

i am thinking of
1. Pharmacist that we know
2. A british national.
are above both okay?
is there any priority like Referee 1 should be professional or i just can get the signatures of above two as either of the referees?

HO expresses a preference for a professional who engages with the child; a pharmacist could I suppose.

Your proposed referees appear acceptable if:

• not related to each other or you;
  not your representative in the application;
  the second referee has a British passport and is aged over 25 (if not a professional);
  they have no unspent convictions.

If either does prove to be unacceptable HO will write asking for another nominee.

However references are not routinely taken up so chances are all will be well.

Didn't want to take chance on referees.
Managed to get my kids school teacher act as referee, although it took a bit of time.
