Visitor visa requirements

Hi

I am on ILR and would like to invite my parents for a month.
The last time I invited them here was about 4 years ago (before my marriage, now i am married and have a little one) and sent the following documents
- my passort and visa copy
- my 3 months bank statement showing at least £1600 for the last 90 days.
- Payslips
- recent utility bill.
- a letter to HO confirming i will take care of my parents without the need of public funds.

could someone please let me know if the requirements are same?
do i still need to demonstrate £800/per-person savings in my account for the last 90 days period?

What documents are you parent submitting to prove their financial and personal circumstances and ties in their home country?

There is no requirement for you to hold x amount bank balance for x amount of days, where did you get that from?

account balance thing was from last time - last time when i sent them the documents i was told (not sure who, but some forum i guess) that having £800 per person would demonstrate that i can surely suppor them on my own.
My parents are 65+ but my father has his own IT firm who works full time.
He will submit his salary details, fixed assests (he has 3 houses) and bank statements.
I am a full time employee and earn £40+/annual.

And what will your mother submit? Each applicant has to meet the requirements for a visitor visa. There have been many refusals this year already.

my mother is a dependant (home maker) so I believe my father income & other assets would be enough?

There is NO minimum balance requirement that YOU have to meet.

They are much more strict on issuing visitor visas. Does your mother have anything in her name that she can submit?

are you sure about the no minimum balance requirement? because my parents enquired at VFS and they told them they should include my bank statements with their application.

they have been to UK before to visit me but not recently, my mother have properties too but she does not work.

There is no minimum balance requirement. But your mother needs to show how she will pay for the visit and your bank statements would help in showing that you have access to liquid funds.

The most common grounds for refusal is in not being able to show strong ties back home. The ECO has to make a judgment as to the chances of the visitor not returning to their home country after the visit. The more evidence you can show of that, the easier it would be to get the visit visa.

I would also suggest that you keep the visit short and sweet. Two weeks to a month. The UKV&I seem to be scrutinising repeat visit visa applications for people, typically parents, who "reside" in the UK in the guise of a "visit" visa. So, if she stays the full six months of her visit visa, she may have issues with getting a visit visa again. Search on these forums for stories of visit visas being refused and even existing long-term visit visas being curtailed or cancelled on these grounds.
